=====Mission 01=====
Evacuate Rebel Base Near Gelgelar

The primary goal in this mission is to evacuate personnel in three medium transports (T-37, T-38, T-39) and a shuttle. The problem is that the hyperspace vector is blocked by a Star Destroyer.

The main threat for these transports is TIE Interceptor Avenger and the Star Destroyer itself. The Z-95s are loaded with missiles and mag pulse. The ones armed with missiles should support by destroying TIE Fighters, and TIE Bombers as secondary objectives. The ones armed with Mag Pulse should concentrate on Avenger squadron and disabling the Star Destroyer lasers with Mag Pulses.

This mission is simple when played in multiplayer. But if played in single player you need to be very careful to stay alive long enough and do not engage GUNs entering after Platform's shield drop by TIE Bombers.

Protect Arriving Wounded From Gelgelar Base

Escort Convoy Through the Halbara System

Retrieve Supply Containers From Gelgelar Base

The main objective in this mission is to retreive the four containers around the Platform. In order to achieve this, M/FRG Harpy and VSD Stormhawk must be withdrawn as well as disabling the Platform. Both Capital ships withdraw when their shields reach get critically low. Also, CRS Liberty must not withdraw.

The key to winning this mission is to eliminate as much fighter opposition as possible. B-Wings and Y-Wings should launch their warheads to M/FRG and VSD so they flee, and then help X-Wings in superiority. If enough players are available, you can try to disable both ships so they can be destroyed.

The main threat to the Liberty is a squadron of TIE Bombers, which launches in waves of 3 ships. Once TIE Bombers are out, GUNs try to finish the job. It is very important to prevent premature inspection of containers, as this triggers the arraival of the Heavy Lifters, and in case TIE Bombers are still alive, this triggers the GUNs as well and will destroy the Lifters quite easily.
